Etiquette

-the customary code of polite behaviour in society or among members of a particular profession or group.

Why is it important when working in media industry- Etiquette is important when working in the media industry as it allows workers to make sure they are being respectful and reasonable within a working environment by listening and taking on ideas not only by themselves. It is important for working alongside people to reach your success as you are being polite to others around you. E.g a media job role- reach their success by fuelling off peoples ideas and allowing them to take on other ideas from others in their workplace. Etiquette makes people grow to success as they learn the manners for future job roles.

How does etiquette enable others to complete their job successful?- Etiquette enables others to complete their job successfully as they will enable themselves for further job opportunities iif they are respectful and understanding of the tasks given to them. Etiquette helps a worker move on and complete jobs as they respect the task and are polite to other around them. Without etiquette the person in the job may come across as disrespectful which will prohibit them from doing the job successfully due to the lack of respect for others.

  1. Hi Lexi,

    Great work again!

Few minor things: Please add what kind of progression a Digital Marketer could experience after a job role like this?

Please add the third etiquette question about how etiquette enables others to complete their role successfully. You appear to be skirting around that answer in the big one you have done, but just so it is clear, please do it as a separate Q&A.

    Thanks

    Mr H
